Wet N Wild just dropped 2 new highlighters for Spring 2017 and the Wet N Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in 321B Precious Petals ($6.99 CAD) is the prettiest, most affordable highlighter that I know of.
The packaging matches the price, flimsy plastic with no mirror.
The Wet N Wild MegaGlo Highlighters are available in 2 shades - 321B Precious Petals (a warm gold) and 322B Crown of My Canopy (a shimmering light pink). The Wet N Wild MegaGlo Highlighter in 321B Precious Petals is EVERYTHING.
I've heard along the grape vine that Precious Petals is a great shade dupe for Becca x Jaclyn Hill's Champagne Pop. Unfortunately, I don't have Champagne Pop on-hand. If I compare it to some of my other golden highlighters, it's slightly warmer than MAC's Oh Darling and both warmer and less glittery looking than MAKE UP FOR EVER's Pro Light Fusion in 02 Gold. In texture, it's quite similar to MAC's Oh Darling - more hard than powdery or creamy and easily picked up with a brush.
It's a great cheek highlight but also doubles as a lovely eyeshadow or brow bone highlight, if you so please.
I'm not too miffed about using this one every day or "saving it up" because it's not limited edition and I can go back to Walmart and pick up another if I really I ever run out (though I don't think I've ever hit pan on a highlighter in my time wearing makeup).
On days that I'm wearing the Wet N Wild Highlighting Powder in 321B Precious Petals, I'm really feeling myself. I'll look in the mirror and tell myself - you glow girl. Because seriously, I do.
